FACTORY TOUR PROGRAM 5P

Join our Factory Tour Program to explore manufacturing excellence, gain insights from industry experts, and create new opportunities for growth.

Discover. Learn. Collaborate.

Whether you're a buyer, supplier, or student, the Factory Tour Program equips you with practical knowledge, professional connections, and tools to succeed.

1. PURPOSE

The Factory Tour Program aims to bring tangible benefits to all stakeholders involved, including the organizers, host factories, and participants.

For the Organizing Team:

  • Staff involved in planning, logistics, and back-office operations will be compensated for each Factory Tour they assist.
  • Experts responsible for assessment and evaluations (typically SQEs) will receive a fee for each tour and may also get opportunities to provide improvement consultations to the host factory.

For the Host Factory:

  1. Promotion: The host factory gains exposure, showcasing its capabilities to potential buyers and increasing the chance of securing new projects.
  2. Expert Advice: Host factories receive expert evaluations highlighting key findings, along with actionable recommendations to implement corrective measures.
  3. Networking: The factory can connect with representatives from other visiting factories, fostering collaboration, project sharing, or capacity-building opportunities.
  4. Media Deliverables: Hosts will receive:
    • A 3–5-minute highlight video showcasing the factory or an interview with the CEO.
    • A detailed evaluation report post-tour.
  5. Consulting Opportunities: Factories in need of further support can directly engage the experts for consultancy services and negotiate costs.

For Participants:

  1. Buyers with Demand/RFQs: Gain deeper insights into the manufacturing capacity, quality systems, and products of potential suppliers to make informed decisions about sending RFQs. Buyers are not required to pay a participation fee for the Factory Tour.
  2. Other Factories: Learn from new practices and gain insights into production processes and management systems to enhance their own operations.
  3. Commercial Representatives: Understand the demands and requirements of the host factory, creating opportunities to pitch and sell their products or services.
  4. Students: Experience real-world manufacturing processes and systems, aligning theory with practice. This also creates future career opportunities at the host factory after graduation.

  4. Expert-led debrief and feedback session for the host factory.
  5. Distribution of deliverables, such as evaluation reports and videos, post-tour.

4. PRODUCT

The deliverables of the Factory Tour Program include:

  1. For Host Factories:
